For as long as I can remember, I've been fascinated by 'place.' Not just buildings, but the spaces between them where community happens. My 21-year career in real estate and my time on the Raleigh City Council were driven by a single, optimistic belief: that thoughtful development can dramatically improve people's lives.

My experience isn't just theoretical. I've had the privilege of leading complex projects and large-scale teams, turning vision into operational reality.

Project & Entitlement Leadership: I've played a direct role in shaping some of the most transformative, community-focused projects in North Carolina:

• Historic Entitlements: Successfully led multiple rezonings for Kane Realty Corporation, including the Downtown South project—the largest private rezoning in the City of Raleigh's history.
• Iconic Place-Making: Contributed to the land planning and design development for celebrated destinations like North Hills, North Hills Innovation District (NHID), Smoky Hollow, West End, and Rockway.

Operational & AI Leadership: A great 'place' requires brilliant execution. I led a diverse team of 270 operations personnel across a portfolio spanning from the Triad to the Coast, with a relentless focus on process, efficiency, and forward-thinking technology.

• Scaled Operations: My leadership scope included Residential, Office, and Retail Property Management, Upfit Construction, Leasing, Events, Marketing/PR, and all Property Services (Public Safety, Custodial, Maintenance, and Dispatch).
• Systems & Process: I excel at building and refining the "engine" of a business. I have deep experience in clarifying business units, implementing new software, and developing rigorous SOPs, scopes, and contracts.
• AI Integration: I served as the company's AI champion, leading monthly "AI lunch" educational sessions and driving the practical implementation of AI projects to improve efficiency and a create better tenant experience.
